Our second homage piece is dedicated to The Maestro, Abedi Ayew Pelé, a homeland hero and one of African football’s greatest of all time. Made with 100% cotton and a relaxed fit, this piece honours Pelé’s unforgettable era with the Ghana Black Stars, during which he led the team to several international tournaments.
The front features the HMLND logo and a graphic of Pelé, arguably his most iconic shot in a Black Stars jersey, from 19th January 1996, when he captained the Black Stars to victory against Tunisia in Port Elizabeth. The back is adorned with a classic jersey-reminiscent print.
